    The Scottish Property Federation is the voice of the real estate industry in Scotland, an industry that accounts for one in every 13 jobs. We work collaboratively with policy makers and other industry stakeholders to create a thriving built environment that provided the homes, leisure and employment spaces that Scotland needs.

The real estate sector has made meaningful commitments to equity, diversity and inclusion — but how do we turn intent into lasting, measurable change?

 

This panel brings together leaders from across the talent pipeline, from early access and education through to leadership representation, to explore how the industry can widen access, support progression and build a more inclusive future. Drawing on practical insight and lived experience, the discussion will examine what’s working, where gaps remain, and how organisations can collaborate to drive impact at scale.

 

The session will explore how the sector can move beyond good intentions to embed equity and inclusion into everyday practice — shaping workplaces where talent from all backgrounds can enter, progress and thrive.
